My Peace I Give to You…

On this 1st Sunday of the Holy Fifty Days, we remember our Lord’s appearance unto St. Thomas. When our resurrected Lord Jesus Christ first appeared to the holy disciples, he proclaimed to them, “Peace be with you.” He continues to give us this peace today in the holy Church. His appearance unto St. Thomas was also filled with peace and aimed at quelling his doubts and strengthening his faith. May our Savior always instill in us his peace and strengthen our faith.
