Spiritual Starvation

Last Sunday, we read the Gospel of the Feeding of the 5000 from Lk 9:12-17. The miracle teaches us that our Savior Jesus Christ feeds us through the service of the apostles in the Church. The spiritual food that is given to us is good and abundant for all of our spiritual nourishment. The problem which we must examine is if we are indeed spiritually full or are we starving in a spiritual land of plenty.
