Be Still, Get up and Move

On Sunday we read the Gospel passage from Luke 1:39-56, about the Visitation of the Theotokos to Elizabeth, the mother of St. John the Baptist. We meditated on cultivating a deep and purposeful relationship with God. One cultivates it through first being still. Second we are then called to get up and move toward serving others. Serving others ultimately brings joy.
